BASINGSTOKE, U.K. - Oct. 9, 2015 - PRLog -- RobustLink enables the monitoring, configuration and management of remote Robustel Cellular router and gateway devices, privately over the web. RobustLink 2 has faster response times to issues raised in the field. The latest version includes GPS mapping enabling location of mobile devices and a simple to use platform for efficient maintenance. RobustLink is a scaleable solution which can be easily installed and self hosted.

Key features of RobustLink 2, include real time alarms which can be sent via E-mail and the ability to display GPS location for models with on board GPS. A completely refreshed user interface allows display of key information for up to 1000 Robustel routers and gateways in a more intuitive format. Remote firmware updates and data forwarding can also be carried out.

Advantages of RobustLink 2 enable the user or service company to respond quickly to communications outages or issues without the need for a site visit. Costly call outs are often attributable to third party interference such as loss of power, disablement from or user saturation of network at peak times.

Robustel cellular products supported by RobustLink and RobustLink 2 include the 4G and 3G enabled R3000 and R3000 Lite routers and M1000XP and M1000 Pro V2 cellular gateways.

Robustel produce several ranges of cost effective industrial routers, terminals and gateways operating on 4G, 3G or GPRS. Designed for wireless M2M and telemetry platforms as a way of accessing remote devices in the field, Robustel enable multiple connectivity solutions to end equipment. These include multiple I/O and serial interface options via RS232, RS485, USB or Ethernet. Dual SIM card ports, high voltage range and rugged build quality are spread across the various products. Low volume gateway prices start at £49.

David Taylor, PR Manager of ACTE comments “Customer demand has really driven the requirements for RobustLink 2. As customers roll out wireless monitoring by using Robustel products to link to multiple sites, it makes sense to access them via one screen without paying for additional software for the privilege. The upgrade has been implemented as a result of feedback from the hundreds of installed sites”.

Small pilot usage for up to 20 devices is free of charge via a public access server whilst users requiring monitoring for more than 20 sites pay a modest, annual licence fee for use on their own private server.
