Heather Knoll Nursing and Rehabilitation celebrates new Rehabilitation Unit

TALLMADGE, Ohio - Nov. 19, 2015 - PRLog -- Sprenger Health Care Systems is celebrating the expansion and renovation of Heather Knoll Nursing and Rehabilitation.  To commemorate the new changes at Heather Knoll, Sprenger Health Care hosted a community open house on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015.  At the open house, health care professionals and community members toured the new Rehabilitation Unit and enjoyed an evening of gourmet food, hors d’oeuvres and cocktails. The City of Tallmadge Chamber of Commerce and Mayor David Kline also joined Sprenger executives to officially unveil the new addition of a Rehabilitation Unit at Heather Knoll with a ceremonial ribbon cutting.  The new 14,000 square foot Rehabilitation Unit at Heather Knoll consists of 26 private rooms, which feature flat screen televisions and private bathrooms with walk-in showers. The common area of the new addition features a vaulted ceiling skylight, cozy seating area, fireplace and coffee bar with a resort-like atmosphere. Included in the renovation is a makeover of the existing Porte-cochere. It has been redesigned with a lodge-style façade to enhance curb appeal and give it a look that’s familiar and inviting.  Heather Knoll Nursing and Rehabilitation will be offering tours of the new Rehabilitation Unit to the public on Dec. 11th from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Each person who takes a tour will be given a platter of holiday cookies to take home.
