When Art and Fashion Meet Business

PHILADELPHIA - Nov. 4, 2015 - PRLog -- PHILADELPHIA November 4, 2015: On Saturday November 7^th, 2015 the African Caribbean Business Council (ACBC) will host its 6^th Annual Winter Gala awards.

This prestigious gathering held at the Double Tree Hilton in Philadelphia promotes trade between the African continent, the Caribbean and the USA. It is a one of a kind event that brings head of state, ambassadors and entrepreneurs willing and ready to listen to new, innovative ideas.

There will be a special Art and Fashion showcase featuring two leading designers. According to ACBC President Dr. Azuka Anyiam, this event will highlight the inherent value of fashion, art and culture, their contribution to society, their symbiotic relationship with education and, more importantly their economic power. The creative industries from fashion, art and culture have been growing three times as fast as the national economy and the role of fashion in our society in same like the role of art as they enhance creativity, showcase beauty, culture, and national pride he declared
