By: Michael-Ann Russell JCC Cantor, on Tuesday, November 17, at 7pm, at Aventura Turnberry Jewish Center (20400 NE 30th Avenue, Aventura) will discuss her most recently published book, THE HOURS COUNT, a spell-binding historical novel about a woman who befriends Ethel and Julius Rosenberg, an ordinary-seeming Jewish couple who became the only Americans put to death for spying during the Cold War, and is drawn into their world of intrigue. Taitz, on Wednesday, November 18, at 1pm, at the Michael-Ann Russell Jewish Community Center (18900 NE 25th Avenue, North Miami Beach) will discuss her award-winning THE WATCHMAKER’S DAUGHTER, an invigorating coming of age memoir about the daughter of Lithuanian Jewish immigrants and Holocaust survivors. It tells the sotry of a watchmaker, who saved lives within Dachau prison, and his wife, a gifted concert pianist, about to make her debut when the Nazis seized power. Both programs are offered complimentary and include light refreshments. Following each author’s presentation and a question and answer period, books will be available for purchase for book signing.
