Hodges University Celebrates Student Leadership and Accomplishments

 
NAPLES, Fla. - Dec. 21, 2015 - PRLog -- Hodges University celebrated the accomplishments of its students with the 6th Annual Student Leadership Recognition Program and Reception. The Student Leadership Recognition Program, held each year during the fall term, recognizes and celebrates the accomplishments of Hodges University students who have distinguished themselves in areas of leadership, scholarship and service.

Awards are given to students based on a selection process including nomination by peers and professors, and evaluation of criteria for each award. Contributing to the co-curricular life at Hodges, these students not only serve as superb examples of growth in leadership positions, but they strive to showcase their creative involvement in campus life. A list of awards recognized and this year’s recipients include:

• Johnson School of Business Memorial Leadership Award – Sheronia Garcia
• Allied Health Club Award – Shannon Wilcox
• Communication Club Award – Sebastian Weber
• Fisher School of Technology Society Award – Jordan Swanson
• Business Club Award – Virginia Gornik
• Psychology Club Award – Correna Wagner
• Alumna of the Year 2015 Award – Darlene Mitchell
