The Spalding King of the Beach Big Shot Volleyball Series, presented by Reflekt Polarized, will start the 2016 season at sites throughout Florida during February, March and April. Teams from throughout the East Coast will compete as they warm up for the 2015 Pro Beach Volleyball Tour. All events are sanctioned by Volley America.

Top male and female doubles teams will compete for over $75,000 cash prizes during the 2016 season including the five events at the Spring Florida tour. Tournament play will start at 9 am with women’s finals scheduled for 6 pm Saturday and men’s finals at 12 noon on Sunday. Admission is free for all spectators.

The Big Shot Volleyball Series holds 35 events leading to the $8,000 Big Shot Championships at Bally’s Casino in Atlantic City, NJ in September and the $10,000 Volley America National Championships in Clearwater Beach in October.

Separate divisions will be held for players of intermediate and novice levels on Saturday and Sunday. Based in the East End of Long Island, EEVB has grown into the largest beach volleyball series in the East End of the country with tournaments from Newport, RI to Hollywood, Florida.
