Follow on Google News | Northland Furniture Renovations Complete on Lied Lodge and Conference CenterNorthland Furniture recently announced the completion of the casegood side of a $9 million renovation project for the Lied Lodge and Conference Center in Nebraska City, Nebraska.
By: Northland Furniture Company The renovation, which was made possible in part by a partnership with Wyndham Vacation Ownership, included renovations to the guest rooms, lobby, technology, dining room and pool. The hotel and conference center now features 140 fully renovated guest rooms and suites appointed with custom furniture from Northland Furniture, a full-service meeting facility, a restaurant and cocktail lounge, and an indoor pool and jacuzzi, spa and fitness center. The environment was a priority throughout the project. All of the carpet was recycled and the existing furniture was donated to Keep Nebraska Beautiful, which distributed it to various nonprofits. It was a priority to both Northland Furniture and the Lied Lodge to keep the previously used materials and furniture out of the landfills. Lied Lodge and Conference Center has won the American Hotel and Motel Association’ Lied Lodge and Conference Center is owned and operated by the Arbor Day Foundation, and at its opening, was dedicated to Arbor Day Foundation founder John Rosenow.
