Madam Secretary's main character, Elizabeth McCall, has left her job as a CIA analyst and has been appointed as Secretary of State. McCall is played by Tea Leoni and executive produced by Lori McCreary and Morgan Freeman. On the episode which aired on Sunday, March 6, 2016, an Italian warship answers the distress call of a ship carrying Libyan refugees. On set, BTL's liners were used in the filming of the wave-bound ship on water to protect the floors and studio from water damage.
