Oregon-Fabricated Liners from BTL Liners Used in New CBS Drama, Madam Secretary

PRINEVILLE, Ore. - March 14, 2016 - PRLog -- Prineville, Oregon-based geomembrane containment systems fabricator, BTL Liners, provides geosynthetic liners for an array of applications, from irrigation districts and stormwater retention to baseball field covers and hay tarps. Now, BTL's products are in use in television production. Previously, liners from BTL Liners were used in NBC's Law & Order.

BTL's liners were most recently used in the filming of this week's episode 16 of the CBS television drama Madam Secretary. Madam Secretary's main character, Elizabeth McCall, has left her job as a CIA analyst and has been appointed as Secretary of State. McCall is played by Tea Leoni and executive produced by Lori McCreary and Morgan Freeman.

On the episode which aired on Sunday, March 6, 2016, an Italian warship answers the distress call of a ship carrying Libyan refugees. On set, BTL's liners were used in the filming of the wave-bound ship on water to protect the floors and studio from water damage.
