In 1976, a group of local craftsman formed Northland Furniture Company in Bend, Oregon, and began manufacturing commercial furniture due to the rich timber tradition that flowed through the region. The Northland Furniture facility was originally located in what is now the historic Old Mill District. With a rich lumber history in Bend, The Old Mill District was home to two of the largest pine saw mills in the world. In Northland’s early days, much of its raw wood was sourced from the old Brooks-Scanlon mill before it closed in 1983. Today, Northland Furniture still sources most of its wood from Oregon and the Pacific Northwest.

Northland Furniture started with the vision of bringing Pacific Northwest craftsmanship to the nation and has a reputation for service and quality, which continues to this day.
