Volunteers set up the on-site salon at 5:30 p.m. and styled trendy waves and updos and polished nails to coordinate with guests’ prom dresses from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at The Family Worship Center. However, as excited as the clients were, the volunteering students were touched to be part of such an incredible evening. “Students made connections with their clients that evening. It was clear this was more than just an opportunity to provide services for a special group of people,” observed Campbell.
