South Shore Young Professionals announces Joseph Powers to Board of Directors

PLYMOUTH, Mass. - March 17, 2016 - PRLog -- The South Shore Young Professionals an affiliate of the South Shore Chamber of Commerce announces the appointment of Joseph Powers to its Board of Directors.

Powers is a Sales Executive with Rogers & Gray. A resident of Plymouth, MA, Powers received a degree in History from the University of Massachusetts, Boston. He is on the Board of Directors of the Plymouth 400, Inc., an organization planning a series of signature events and programs to commemorate the 400^th anniversary of the 1620 Mayflower voyage and the founding of Plymouth Colony.

Outgoing Board members are Gregory Deems, Dave Ellis and Jason Horowitz.

Shannon Hoeg, President and CEO of JSS Communications, was recently announced as Chair of the Board of Directors of the SSYP.
