NEW YORK - March 29, 2016 - PRLog -- Fuse Literary, the literary agency that focuses on technology, innovation, and expansion of storytelling into new media, today announced that Agent Connor Goldsmith is now representing writer and video game expert Cara Ellison.

Ellison is a Scottish writer, critic, and video game narrative designer; her articles on video games and their development have been featured in myriad publications including PC Gamer, Rock, Paper, Shotgun, The New Statesman, Paste, Kotaku, The Guardian, and VICE.

Through crowd-funding, Ellison traveled the world as an itinerant games journalist for her "Embed with" series, exploring the inner workings of prominent video game studios. This series has since become the book EMBED WITH GAMES (Birlinn Ltd., 2016).

As a narrative designer, Ellison came to prominence with the text-based game Sacrilege, which was highlighted in The New York Times as a "raw exploration of female sexuality" making "astute observations".

Most recently, she was employed by Arkane Studios to develop the storyline for Dishonored 2, the eagerly awaited sequel to 2012's BAFTA-winning hit Dishonored, one of the most celebrated video games in recent years.

Goldsmith sees Ellison as a rising multimedia star. "Cara is one of the most sought-after new talents in video game narrative design, and Dishonored 2 is only the beginning. She's also an incisive critic and a skilled journalist, and I look forward to bringing her written work to greater prominence."

"I'm so excited to sign with Connor," Ellison said, "who from our first introduction knew my work well. I always said I wanted to run with people who can keep up, and Connor can definitely keep up with my ambition because he answers emails almost before I've thought of them."

Fuse will be representing both Ellison's book and videogame publishing interests.
