Actress Sheryl Lee Ralph Ambassador for Delta Sigma Theta Atlanta International Film Festival

ATLANTA - April 15, 2016 - PRLog -- Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., Atlanta Alumnae Chapter 2016 International Film Festival will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at the Shirley A. Massey Executive Conference Center,  Bank of America Auditorium, 830 Westview Drive, S.W. Atlanta, Georgia 30314 . Actress/Singer Soror Sheryl Lee Ralph is an Ambassador and judge for the Festival.

The Festival begins at 7 p.m. and tickets are $25. The proceeds benefit the children at the Delta House in Swaziland, Southern Africa and students pursuing an International education at Morehouse College.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. was founded in 1913 at Howard University on the principles of sisterhood, scholarship and service. The Atlanta Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, the first chapter established in Georgia and the nineteenth chapter in the United States, had its beginning in 1924 when it was chartered as Sigma Chapter. The Atlanta Alumnae Chapter works throughout the community, by speaking out, and by being  visible in civic,religious, academic and political arenas.  the chapter will hold its 37th Annual Health Walk and Health & Wellness Fair on Saturday, April 23 at Greenbriar Mall starting at 8 a.m. and concluding at 2 p.m. Free health screenings will be available. The Health Fair is in partnership with Morehouse School of Medicine.
