LOS ANGELES - April 15, 2016 - PRLog -- Every spring BritWeek hosts a program of events that promotes British creativity, innovation and excellence in California, this year will feature many famous celebrities including Simon Fuller, Julien McDonald (Givenchy), Sir Patrick Stewart and founder Nigel Lythgoe amongst the many guests and performers.

Steve Cooke's Rock n Roll night has become a BritWeek tradition and is an evening not to be missed!  His all-star band will accompany him in a night full of surprises, including a segment of unplugged Led Zeppelin hits.

Steve Cooke blows away the audience at his live performances when he hits the mic with his high notes and amazing soulful singing. His original songs hark back to the magical days of English 70's Rock. And if you always wanted to get into a secret underground bar and watch a great Rock band performing, then this is your night at one of LA's most exclusive venues, Dirty Laundry.

Steve Cooke will also release his new single "California Girls Rock'n'Roll" during the event. The song is featured on a major German TV show at RTL/Vox and is now hitting the US market to become the summer hit we all have been waiting for!

About the venue:

Dirty Laundry is a modern take on the Prohibition-era bar. The space is believed to have been actor Rudolph Valentino's secret bar in the 1920s, and the name references the way forbidden alcohol was smuggled around in laundry baskets at the time. Down to the Edison bulbs, suspender-clad bartenders and the elimination of cellphone service, Dirty Laundry embraces the requisite jazz-age details.

How to get there:

This underground bar is located beneath an unassuming apartment building. Turn off bustling Hollywood Boulevard onto dark Houston Street and you'll wonder if you're going the right way. Once you've found your way to the hidden staircase, ring the correct buzzer and you're in.
