Mt. San Antonio College Manufacturing Technology and Industrial Design Engineering Open House

Guests will have the opportunity to meet with Industry representatives and faculty to see how we may network, serve and support your company needs by providing prospective employees, training and certifications.
 
WALNUT, Calif. - April 25, 2016 - PRLog -- The Manufacturing Technology and Industrial Design Engineering departments Open House is on Thursday April 28, 2016 from 3-7 pm.

Visitors may explore several demonstration stations featuring presentations on laser cutters, 3D printers, CAD, CNC machines, CNC routers, vacuum former and/ or injection molder along with MasterCAM software and Haas CNC machines.

"We are looking forward to showcasing all of ournew equipment and we are eager to connect ourprograms andstudentswith local Industry" said Steve James, Professor of Industrial Design Engineering.

"SOLIDWORKS has had a very collaborative relation's with Mt. San Antonio College and we encouraged them to get the word out" said Michael Puckett, Senior Manager, World Wide Certification Program SOLIDWORKS.

3:00 - 4:15 pm  Meet, greet and visit facilities

5:00 - 5:30 pm  SOLIDWORKS demonstration

5:45 - 6:15 pm MasterCam demonstration

3:00 - 7:00 pm Visit, dialog and explore shop floor

Limited free parking is available in lot D-2 in front of the Technology building (28A-B) from 2pm-8pm.

Metered Parking is available for visitors in nearby campus parking lots. The cost is $0.25/ 15 minutes with a 4 hour maximum

Pay Lots A and B are $4.00 per day   Reminder: Do not park in disabled, emergency vehicle,  electric car or other designated spaces without proper identification.
