PRLog -- The music and entertainment industry received a major loss days ago with the passing of philanthropist, actor, film & music producer, and legendary musician Prince. Fans, friends, and industry peers around the world continue to respond to the tragic loss through social media posts, videos, and pop-up memorials across the globe. Prince's last public performance was held at the Fox Theater in Atlanta where several fans witnessed his awesomeness one final time. Now hundreds of Atlanta artists, musicians, music producers, Recording Academy/GRAMMY members, business leaders, celebrities, and entertainment industry leaders are coming together to celebrate the life and music of the purple one at a special tribute and industry mixer on April 29th thanks to the request of best-selling author, networking icon, and entertainment executive Germaine Moody. "Prince is the epitome of what a true artist is, can be, and should be. He created such a standard that I don't believe will ever be seen again. I feel as if I owe him, we owe him, as the creative community, this night to celebrate what he's established, how he did it, and how he set the stage for so many of us", said Germaine. The event entitled "Tribute To A Legend" will be held at a private location on Friday evening April 29th in Atlanta. Celebrity cake artist Cherie Robinson of Iced Out Cakes will provide a special creation for the celebration. Producer and director Sacsha Keys will host the event. Recording artists Kim Joyce, Alex Rodriguez, and more will perform Prince songs in his honor.
