Follow on Google News | Get Tao With Acupuncture at Ten Ninety Brewing Company"When someone falls in love with acupuncture, they inevitably want their husband, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend, and/or children to also try it. There have been times that I've had the husband of a client come in for acupuncture, and it was obvious he didn't want to be there. I had an idea to bring acupuncture to a location that men would be more excited to visit -- and the idea of craft beer and acupuncture was born," shares Amy Landolt, Licensed Acupuncturist. "Fortunately, my friend Brian Schafer is one of the owners of Ten Ninety, and immediately agreed to host the event." Ten Ninety opened their 11,000 square-foot brewery and tap room in downtown Glenview in late April. They have brewed in the Chicagoland area since 2013 with an eye toward unique processes and locally sourced ingredients. Amy Landolt will be providing complimentary stress relief acupuncture treatments at Ten Ninety at 7pm on Thursday, June 2nd. "I will insert two needles in acupuncture points in the ear that help with stress management. While I typically encourage hydration before and after acupuncture, participants may decide to enjoy one of Ten Ninety's craft brews during their treatment. The Zen beer, an American Pale Ale with a zesty blend of green tea and lemongrass, seems like a natural choice," says Landolt. Space is limited. Call Northshore Acupuncture Center at 815.814.1319 to reserve your spot. For more information about the event, check out http://northshoreacupuncturecenter.com/ End
