Over 100 Artists to Fill the Former Condé Nast Building at the 2016 chashama Gala

NEW YORK - May 17, 2016 - PRLog -- Over 100 artists will fill the interior of the 4th Floor of the former Condé Nast Building at the June 8, 2016 chashama Gala, to celebrate chashama's ongoing commitment of giving artists free and affordable space to create and present their works.

The Gala will feature local performance artists, including Julie Atlas Muz, Flambeaux Fire, Muffinhead, and members of The Tank. Artists from chashama's Workspace and Presentation Program will also enrich the former Condé Nast offices and Frank Gehry-designed dining hall.

A standing, free-form event, attendees are invited to wander, explore, and experience performances and atmospheric environments spread out across the entire 4th Floor.

The evening will Honor Dustin Yellin, Artist and Founder of Pioneer Works, and is Co-Chaired by Darcy Stacom of CBRE.

Annually, the Gala attracts over 400 attendees including corporate and real estate executives, arts professionals, and innovative creators.

All proceeds will help chashama continue to support artists by providing them access to affordable live, work, and presentation space, which helps keep New York City artistically vibrant.
