The Ridgeline is based on Honda's Global Light Truck platform, featuring rigid, aerodynamic, and tightly sealed body construction along with an advanced compatibility engineering (ACE) body structure and fully independent rear suspension with Amplitude Reactive Dampers. The Ridgeline boasts enhanced ride quality in comparison with traditional body-on-frame trucks and is powered by a mightier and more efficient 3.5L i-VTEC direct-injected V6 engine, which is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. This powerhouse engine also features the new available Intelligent Variable Torque Management torque-vectoring all-wheel drive, which is the most advanced AWD technology in the Ridgeline's class.
