Acknowledgement of Knowledge- PIET Earns Best Engineering College Award

PANIPAT, India - June 3, 2016 - PRLog -- 28^th May, an evening of recognition ofPanipat Institute of Engineering and Technology (PIET), the Top Colleges of Haryana, Delhi NCR and North India at a special function held at New Delhi by 'The Dialogue India', a leading News Magazine. It was the presentation of 'The Dialogue India Academia Award 2016' for Best Engineering & Best Management Institution of Haryana presented by Shri Madan Chauhan, Hon'ble Minister of State, UP.

While receiving this prestigious award, which comes close on heels of the March 2016 award of 'Best Placements' in North India, Dr. (Capt.) Prof. K K Paliwal, Director PIET said, "I appreciate the role of Dialogue India in Acknowledging the Knowledge by bringing to lime light the top performing institutions of Haryana for the benefit of parents who invest their hard earned money with a view to get benefit out of it in the form of a successful career for their wards. I am convinced that we can do the best if we do not keep in mind as to who will get the credit for it. At PIET 'doing' is a reward in itself which gives us satisfaction."

To this Shri Suresh Tayal, Member Secretary added that applauds and accolades develop in us an 'attention syndrome' situation which is not a healthy sign for better performance. If your work is recognised, you feel more important and motivated to better your work. One has to understand the concept of 'enough', which may not be enough at any length or may be enough at every point. More important is our role towards the society so that we can give more than enough what they expect from us.

The day after speaking to the press at PIET, Shri Rakesh Tayal, Member Secretary said, "An award gives me a mixed feeling of happiness and fear. Happiness because we have done it and fear because it is the outcome of a responsibility handed over to us by the parents for their wards and the desired efforts to continue consistent performance because there is no room for complacency. I may be expected to give away more scholarships and recognize student talents in return. And I would do it with pleasure."

Shri O P Renolia, P R Manager PIET (http://www.piet.co.in) apprised the Press Gallery about the widely appreciated 16 acre vast campus of the colleges which is enriched with an artifact infrastructure and bustling with students from Haryana, Delhi, J&K, Jharkhand, Assam, North East, MP, UP and the neighbouring countries of Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh.
