Ticked Off Foundation introduces new easy ways for the public to help Lyme patients

NORWALK, Conn. - June 30, 2016 - PRLog -- The Ticked Off Foundation, founded in 2015 by Gregg Kirk of Norwalk, CT, is always looking for new and innovative ways to boost donations to its patient fund that was created to help Lyme disease patients in crisis and to stem the tide of Lyme-related suicide. In order to help with their fundraising, the foundation has established three unique programs to encourage the public to give without having to actually write a check.

1. Recycle For Lyme program - Collect non-traditional recyclables that would ordinarily be destined for the landfill or incinerators and are not being collected by neighborhood pick-up. Using a free shipping label, you ship these recyclables to TerraCycle and Ticked Off Foundations receives donations based on the amount shipped. Help save the planet and help Lyme patients all at once. Win/win!

2. Donate via Amazon Smile. The next time donors need to shop on Amazon, use http://Smile.Amazon.com.  Once there, they can choose the Ticked Off Foundation as their preferred charity and Amazon will donate 0.5% of the purchase to the Ticked Off Foundation's patient fund. The donation comes directly from Amazon, and it doesn't affect the purchase price.

3. Donate via eBay. The next time eBay users want to sell their prized possessions or junk on eBay, they can use http://charity.ebay.com/.  Participants can then choose the Ticked Off Foundation as their favorite charity and then choose the percentage of their sale (10% to 100%) that they wish to have donated.
