Learn more and purchase tickets online at: www.milldogrescue.org/ About Little River Band: Little River Band was the first Australian band to successfully conquer foreign markets from an Australian base. Within eight months of their birth, LRB had already scored three Australian Top 20 singles and two Top Ten albums. In 1976, after their self-titled debut album was released in the USA, the long grind of 13 US tours in eight years had begun. By 1982 they became the only act - from anywhere - to have a top ten US single for six consecutive years. Record success ran alongside - total record sales around the world have eclipsed the 30 million mark...16 hit singles by 1985, as well as gold, platinum, and multi-platinum album sales awards. All-told LRB has notched up eight top 10 singles in the US, where two of their songs, Reminiscing and Lady, have more than 9 million radio plays between them. Through the years LRB has thrived as a highly respected and constantly in-demand outfit, going about their craft with a dedication to excellence and professionalism that few, if any, can match. Little River Band's website: www.littleriverband.com About National Mill Dog Rescue: National Mill Dog Rescue is a Colorado Springs based 501(c)(3) organization that rescues, rehabilitates, and re-homes discarded commercial breeding dogs from puppy mills. NMDR relies on volunteers to care for the dogs, from the moment they are surrendered to the time they are adopted and beyond. The organization depends on the generosity of the public to provide the high level of care for our dogs and to continue to be able to save them. National Mill Dog Rescue was established in February 2007 to give a voice to mill dogs across the country. Since then, NMDR has rescued more than 10,800 puppy mill survivors. Every single dog that comes through the doors is spayed or neutered and given whatever additional medical care they need - without exception. They are groomed, many of them for the very first time. Years of filth and matted fur are removed, allowing the beautiful dog underneath to shine. Soon they learn about all the simple pleasures that they had never previously known - clean water, toys and treats, a soft bed, and most importantly, the love of a human companion.
