Digital Technology is coming up with innovations and is changing the market behaviour. Deepak Jindal - DGM, HCL said "We need to show our commitment and responsibility towards our customer. Irrespective of place, customer emotions remain the same, the change is witnessed only in personality. We need to build engagement with our customers. The Other 'E' which is very important is 'Emotion'. When you come up with any new idea ask yourself how much mass has been impacted by your idea. Your success is directly related to the impact caused to the mass. Atul Khanna GDM Marketing, Idea Cellular Ltd said "Data plays a very crucial role in understanding the market behavior. It helps measure your engagement with your customers." In context to rural marketing engagement he said that it is much easier to get engaged with rural market. Wipro Company has worked a lot in engaging rural mass. They have created 10 back office in rural area in which they have ensure that 70% of mass should be from local area. The seminar also talked to the extent on Women Empowerment and Gender Inequality. Arun K Kaul - Usha International shared that in company they train women in batches on machine and tailoring. Women are then provided free machines with a Kit. These women also train 20 Women of their locality in next 1 years' time. These trained women work as professional mechanics. Under this process 83 thousand women have been trained. JIMS Chairman, Manish Gupta also added that at Bhivani near Rohini he is running a Centre 'Karmarth' which works on training underprivileged women. Here women are trained on cutting and tailoring, beauty culture, Computer basics, English speaking, retail management, Mobile repairing, Heena designing and on many other such programs.
