Stewart-Marchman-Act Foundation Welcomes New Executive Director

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Aug. 15, 2016 - PRLog -- Stewart-Marchman-Act Foundation is pleased to welcome their new executive director Jennifer Secor, CFRE.

Jennifer is one of only 250 professionals in Florida awarded the Certified Fund Raising Executive designation by the CFRE Professional Certification Board. She was first certified in 2002 and has since been re-certified in 2008, 2011 and 2014.

Jennifer has nineteen years of experience related to non-profit management, community relations and development and has worked for agencies such as Brevard Family Partnership, Brevard Achievement Center and Junior Achievement of East Central Florida.  She is currently President Elect for the Space Coast Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) and has served on the Boards of organizations such as LEAD Brevard and the National Center for Innovation on Excellence.

Stewart-Marchman-Act Foundationwas founded by Jim Foster at the request of Hal Marchman in 1997. The Stewart-Marchman-Act Foundation is focused on building the resources to complement the programs of Stewart-Marchman-Act Behavioral Healthcare, conduct behavioral healthcare research and community education. The volunteer board of directors is comprised of leading professionals, business leaders, and citizens from the Volusia/Flagler area. The Foundation's sole mission is to build resources, public awareness, and research to support the programs of Stewart-Marchman-Act Behavioral Healthcare, the leading non-profit behavioral healthcare organization in the four-county area.
