Thomas Baca joins the team as Director of Food & Beverage; bringing over a decade of resort and hospitality experience, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality and Hotel Restaurant Management and an Associate's degree in Culinary Arts from the prestigious Scottsdale Culinary Institute. New Executive Chef Raymond Ladewig is in the process of pursuing a Master Chef accreditation while bringing to the table an impressive cadre of certifications, degrees and experience. The well-rounded Executive Chef has worked in fast casual and fine dining, as well as hotel experience at the Radisson Phoenix Airport Hotel and the Ox Yoke Inn Restaurant in Iowa. Additionally, Chef Ladewig holds a Bachelor's degree in biochemistry, is an instructor at St. Mary's Food Bank and an advisory board member for the Arizona Culinary Institute. Rounding out the team as the new Culinary Sous Chef, is staff member Durwin Roan who has been a key player at the Crowne Plaza Airport Hotel since March 2013. He came to the property with extensive experience as a line cook and kitchen supervisor at American Express F&B services, serving up to 1500 clients and employees each day.
