New General Manager Brings Tenured Talent to Phoenix Airport Hotel

Ted Trembath Takes the Reins at the Crowne Plaza Phoenix Airport

Industry veteran Ted Trembath has been tapped to take the reins of the hotel, which is the closest Phoenix, Ariz. hotel to Sky Harbor International Airport. Trembath brings over twenty-five years of hospitality experience to the property including previous positions under the Hilton flag in Chicago and Minneapolis, Carlson Hotels Worldwide and most recently as the General Manager for the Radisson Phoenix Airport and Radisson Chandler properties in Arizona. Trembath has demonstrated consistent growth, leadership and award-winning service under his direction including five ‘Carlson Hotels President's Awards’, overseeing a $1.4 million renovation project including launching a new restaurant concept, as well as increasing the Trip Advisor ranking to #14 out of 178 hotels in Phoenix at previous properties he has managed.

Mr. Trembath’s goals for the Crowne Plaza Phoenix Airport include driving the team to new levels of achievement with a “Solution Driven" approach; ensuring all staff members understand their directions and goals.  He will begin immediately building a service culturally rich environment where morale and empowerment is high and creativity is rewarded.

Personal passions include volunteering with the East Valley Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast committee, East Valley Partnership Economic Development Committee and involvement with the Board of Directors for the Love of Christ Lutheran Church, including his position as Board President for the past two years.  A father of two, ages 15 and 12, Trembath also plays recreational ice hockey in the Chandler Adult Hockey League.
