AmTech Grand Opening to Benefit Oakland High School Future Business LeadersBy: AmTech / Advanced Metal Technology, Inc "It's an honor to celebrate this Grand Opening with our new community," said AmTech President Richard Santos. "When we outgrew our Yoncalla location and decided to relocate we chose Oakland because it is central to our employees and we just love the area." "We're also excited about sharing our celebration with the local High School groups, Future Business Leaders of America," continued Santos. "When we learned their groups are in need of funds for this coming year, we couldn't think of a better way to get to know our new neighbors than to help support local students that want to be business leaders someday." The fun begins at 1pm with Mayor Bette Keehley lending a hand by officiating the ribbon cutting for Amtech's expansion and grand opening. Great food will be available from the Rolling Thunder BBQ gourmet food truck. The celebration will continue throughout the day with contests, games and raffles to benefit the FBLA. "This is really a great opportunity for our FBLA chapters to raise some money so early in the year," said Brett Andry, Yoncalla High School Social Studies teacher and Future Business Leaders of America coordinator. Come celebrate the AmTech Grand Opening expansion, enjoy some great food and family friendly activities while helping raise funds for the Oakland High School FBLA. All proceeds to support the school. This fun event will be held from 1pm to 5PM on September 24th. Any group or business that wants to join in the fun is encouraged to help support the FBLA by donating Raffle prizes or by just sharing the event to reach all of Douglas County.
