Motivational Speaker offers to donate his entire fee to the American Cancer Society

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Sept. 9, 2016 - PRLog -- Motivational Speaker, John Davis, (known as the corporate Action Hero) will donate his entire speaking fee ($5000) for his next Northeast Ohio booking. Davis, a cancer survivor, is one of many local business men who are competing to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Known as the "Real Men who Wear Pink" Campaign, Davis and several others have agreed to raise $2500 each. Davis says it is not enough and offers to give his entire fee of $5000 for Motivational Speaking, from the first company to book him this month. Davis believes that raising the money should be easy, but has not found it to be so.

"If two thousand people gave $12.50, we would raise $25000, which is ten times the amount expected. If people would give up Starbucks for a week and donate that amount we would only need 1000 to reach $25000," Davis says. On any given year, Starbucks sells 4 Billion cups of coffee. Each of those cups sells for an average of $2.69. That is 10.76 BILLION dollars a year, or, 29.47 million dollars a day.

John Davis is an internationally known Speaker, Comedian, Author and Action Hero.   As an international entertainer, John has traveled extensively throughout the world speaking to audiences of all ages and backgrounds in 28 countries and over four thousand live performances. John encourages his audiences to set and reach their highest potentials and is often invited back as a peak performance coach.

Since the tragic events of September 11, 2001 John has dedicated a great amount of time bringing entertainment to the soldiers overseas. On six USO tours, John has performed more than one hundred shows and has taken his comedy to even the most remote bases in both Iraq and Afghanistan.  He also attended the University of Delaware studying Architecture.   John served as the Entertainment Director of four regional theme parks across the nation, where he developed a reputation for reversing negative trends. With John at the helm of both entertainment and marketing, the parks witnessed growths of up to 60% in a single year's time.  Most recently he worked in partnership with Young Audiences of North East Ohio developing programs for schools on the subjects of Achievement, Bullying, and Shakespeare.

John is also highly respected fight director and is a recognized instructor with the International Order of the Sword and Pen, an organization that brings together instructors from around the globe who are renowned in both stage and film.
