Follow on Google News | Alpha Kappa Alpha, Inc., Lambda Epsilon Omega Chapter Presents Glitz, Jazz and 40 Years of S.A.S.SLambda Epsilon Omega Chapter was chartered on June 26, 1976 in DeKalb County to broaden and carry out the programs of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and service the needs of DeKalb County. Lambda Epsilon Omega was the second alumnae chapter charted in Metro Atlanta. The chapter has grown from the original 22 charter members to the current membership of 400. Service to the community is the priority for Lambda Epsilon Omega chapter and includes events such as Pink Goes Red for Heart Health, Health and Wellness Fairs, Black Lives Matter Forum series, Think HBCU Scholarships, Relay for Life participation and donations, AKA One Million Backpacks donations, and volunteering at various DeKalb County community organizations throughout the year. The Gala will be a celebration of the forty years of service the chapter has had in the Metro Atlanta community.
