The Boca Raton Chapter of Joshua's Heart Foundation Announces a Call for Youth Volunteers

BOCA RATON, Fla. - Sept. 19, 2016 - PRLog -- Calling all youth volunteers 18 and younger. The newest chapter of the youth run organization, Joshua's Heart Foundation, (JHF) is seeking volunteers to help in the expansion of their mission to Stomp Out World Hunger. The Boca Raton Chapter, under the awesome leadership of 12-year-old Colin Wanless, opened in the summer of 2015 and is dedicated to serving the underserved, from the northern part of Broward County into the Palm Beaches, through the distribution of food, books and personal items. Volunteers are welcome from as far south as Coral Springs, Parkland, Oakland Park and Deerfield Beach cities extending north into Palm Beach county.

JHF is one of few organizations allowing volunteer opportunities for young people under the age of 18. JHF youth leaders serve as mentors to their peers, teaching them the art of giving back while educating them in the ABC's of running a business.

Volunteers assist in organizing grocery distributions and look for various ways they can make the communities of which they serve a better place for all its citizens. Giving back is a fundamental way to build character and teach our young people and leaders of tomorrow to help those less fortunate than themselves. The organization takes the time to recognize the good work of all its members and hopes this will be a life-altering experience that helps shape the future path of our youth.

Joshua's Heart is a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization that empowers, needy people to improve their quality of life. The foundation was founded by a four-and-a-half-year-old boy by the name of Joshua.
