Central Appalachian Brownfield Projects Marketplace is Live

CHICAGO - Sept. 26, 2016 - PRLog -- The West Virginia Brownfields Assistance Centers are leading a seven-state campaign to draw attention to real estate redevelopment opportunities across the central Appalachian region. The Central Appalachian Brownfield Projects Marketplace is an online portal showcasing sites ready for redevelopment as well as those working their way to ultimate reuse through pre-development project phases. Property listings, project plans, Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Qualifications (RFQs) will all be posted to attract developers, vendors and professionals to opportunities at every stage of redevelopment.

Some of the region's most diverse and interesting real estate stock is on display across the states of West Virginia, Kentucky, Virginia, Tennessee, Ohio, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania. Everything from urban commercial locations, buildings primed for adaptive use and industrial sites with rail access will be found in the Central Appalachian Brownfield Projects Marketplace.  Already several large parcels with high industrial potential and some of the flattest developable acreage in the region have been posted.

Many more properties and projects will be posted in the coming weeks and months.

The Central Appalachian Brownfield Projects Marketplace is a featured portfolio on BrownfieldListings.com and was launched at the Inaugural Central Appalachian Regional Brownfields Summit. The successful and sell-out conference was also hosted by the West Virginia Brownfields Assistance Centers at West Virginia University and Marshall University. This property and project feature is complimentary for conference attendees and provides an online workspace for extended conference engagement and follow through.
