Follow on Google News | L.A. Wolves FC Dominate in 6-1 Win over C.F. Cachorros USAL.A. Wolves FC Remain Undefeated in United Premier Soccer League Play 7-0-0
By: la wolves fc The first goal of the match came from a beautiful play that saw Paolo Cardozo chip the goalie after receiving a fantastic pass from Miguel Sanchez. The Wolves grabbed their second goal of the match soon after, a masterful buildup play saw the ball play from the left flank to right across C.F. Cachorros goal in a passing master class. Kevin Garcia blasted in a shot from a tight angle and the ball hit the back of the net to give the Wolves a 2-0 lead. C.F. Cachorros were able to put the Wolves on their heels briefly when a quick counter attack caught the wolves by surprise to pin the match at 2-1 in favor of the L.A. Wolves. The possession game would go on to prove profitable for the L.A. Wolves when right back Andrew Johnson smashed in a fantastic left footed shot into the Cachorros goal to insure the win for the Wolves. C.F. Cachorros game plan to hit the Wolves on the counter hoping to exploit LA's open flanks was evident but was ineffective, especially when the ball had to be played in the air. L.A. Wolves center back Daniel Hubert was solid in the back on the night, completely dominating every aerial battle that came his way. CF Cachorros only goal was scored off a defensive lapse that occurred on the flanks in the early stages of the first half. The second half the Wolves came out flying as they did in the first half. Luis Mora exhibited wonderful footwork to round the Cachorros goalie to add onto the LA Wolves lead at 4-1. The match would also have a bit of controversy as L.A. Wolves attacking midfielder Miguel Sanchez was sent off for a pretty heavy body check. Despite being narrowed down to ten men in the final 25 minutes of the match the L.A. Wolves began to put on a clinic of composure, as they did not concede at all in the second half. The Wolves scored their fifth goal off a set piece after Gonzalo Salguero bent in a wonderful cross for Sori Keita to head home with ease, 5-1. The Wolves confidence also came into the spotlight as substitutes Joseph "Tarzan" Fernandez and Chris Lopez looked to make their mark. The two subs in fact combined wonderfully to put the match beyond Cachorros reach even with a man advantage over the Wolves. Controversy then struck as C.F. Cachorros attempted to make a substitution, which was indentified by the linesmen but not the center referee. The referee would go on to send off the C.F. Cachorros Head Coach and a player before calling the match five minutes early. L.A. Wolves FC L.A. Wolves FC are an American Soccer club based in Los Angeles, California.
