Pittsburgh Musical Theater Celebrates 25 Years with Jekyll and Hyde

PITTSBURGH - Oct. 6, 2016 - PRLog -- Pittsburgh Musical Theater (PMT), will welcome their 2016-2017 season with Jekyll and Hyde The Musical. The horror-drama follows the life of Dr. Henry Jekyll and Mr. Edward Hyde, and the very complicated relationship they shared with one another.

Directed by Jennifer Lybarger, the twisted tale of the dueling paradox between destruction and innocence is carefully crafted throughout the production.

An adaptation from the novel Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde published by Robert Louis Stevenson in 1886, PMT's Jekyll and Hyde The Musical will collaborate with CAPA, a performing arts magnet school located in The Cultural District.

CAPA will provide the musical accompaniment under the direction of Music Director, Francesca Tortorello, Conductor, Bernie Black, and Student Music Director, Mitchell Dubin. With choreography by Lisa Elliott, and vocal coaching by Brady Patsy, the cast is ready to shine on stage.

Dual-Starring as Jekyll/Hyde are vocal dynamos Brecken Farrell and Nick Cortazzo, alongside Nick Hermick as John Utterson.

Playing Lucy is Mia Schmidtetler and Sabina May, and reprising Emma is Elena Doyno and Addison Albert.
