BuildSense Earns North American Green Fleet Award

DURHAM, N.C. - Nov. 30, 2016 - PRLog -- BuildSense, a full-service architecture and construction firm located in Durham, N.C., received an honorable mention award from the North American Green Fleet Awards – 100 Best Fleets on October 13, 2016. The yearly award "is a comprehensive set of criteria specifically tailored around the challenges and requirements of the commercial fleet manager," including fleet composition, fuel & emissions, policy & planning, fleet utilization, education, executive & employee involvement and supporting programs.

For two years in a row, BuildSense, the smallest and one of few privately held companies on the list, has been recognized as having one of the Best Green Fleets in North America. The fleet is composed of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and diesel vehicles fueled by both CNG and biodiesel fueling facilities located at BuildSense in Durham, N.C. These clean-burning fuels reduce harmful emissions, making the BuildSense carbon footprint significantly smaller than other similarly sized fleets in the industry.
