TomCat Films Announces production to commence on ALIEN HUNTRESS, sci-fi action franchise

PHOENIX - Dec. 5, 2016 - PRLog -- The film tells the story of the Alien Huntress (Keenan) who crash lands on Earth and is pursued by her arch nemesis, Sklaar, who is intent on enslaving the Universe.  A group of college students on Fall break celebrate Halloween in costumes and they mistake the Huntress and her sidekick for fellow college students.  Bonds are created and the two groups decide to team up to stop Sklaar and his evil soldiers from conquering Earth using some very unconventional methods.

The film will be shot in Los Angeles and on location in Arizona and will be directed by Ted Chalmers, long time TomCat prexy and founder.  Alien Huntress will mark his feature debut in the director's chair.  Chalmers is an industry veteran with over 32 credits on IMDB and is also has a degree in production from USC's prestigious school of Cinema-television (Now the School of Cinematic Arts).

Kelby Keenan is known for her work on Razors: The Return of Jack the Ripper (2016), Fragments of May (2015) and Mad to Be Normal (2017).

"Kelby is a real talent and I am excited to be working with her on my first feature film as director." Said, Chalmers.  "I think she is going to go far in Hollywood."

ALIEN HUNTRESS is set for release by TomCat Films in early 2018.  The label is distributed in the U.S. on DVD and Blu-Ray by MVD.  The company also has a first look deal with Gravitas Ventures.  Internationally, TomCat attends all the major film sales markets and has distribution output deals in place with the U.K., Germany, South Africa, France and Japan.
