Wolves FC, contributing two world-class goals as Wolves improved to 13-0-0 on the season with a 4-0 victory over Marina Del Rey (Calif.)-based Del Rey City SC on Sunday, Dec. 18, 2016, in a UPSL Western Conference game at Lake Forest Sports Park. It was Wolves' last league fixture of the 2016 calendar year, and their 16th consecutive win across all competitions. L.A. Wolves FC head coach Michael Collins: "It was a good match for the boys to close out the year. We're looking forward to the playoffs so it was good to get a few more kicks in before January. The way we've played so far, the squad deserves a good rest over the holiday break. We wish all our fans and families a fantastic Holiday." L.A. Wolves FC scored 10 goals vs. Del Rey City SC in two games during UPSL's 2016 Fall Season. Wolves previously defeated Del Rey City SC, 6-1, on Aug. 6. L.A. Wolves FC has clinched a first-round playoff bye in the upcoming UPSL playoffs after securing top of the table in the Western Division, and has three more regular season games remaining before awaiting the first-round playoff game winner. Kifikalani Cabrera played the full 90 minutes and earned the shutout for Wolves, the UPSL Western Division leaders. L.A. Wolves FC also has qualified for the third round of qualifying for the 2017 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, scheduled for March of 2017. L.A. Wolves FC L.A.
