Denver Native Parnell Damone Marcano Returns to "Greenleaf" for Season 2!!!

DENVER - March 21, 2017 - PRLog -- Actor/Singer/Dancer PARNELL DAMONE MARCANO returned as "Carlton Cruise" for Season Two (2) in the Lionsgate-produced series "Greenleaf", which began airing on the Oprah Winfrey Network on Wednesday, March 15, 2017.

Parnell Damone Marcano's character, "Carlton Cruise", mirrors Parnell's life.  The actor and the character are both black, gay and married to their same-sex partner.  Parnell is very happy that the writers of "Greenleaf" have been very conscious of not presenting the stereotypical caricature of a gay man, instead presenting a positive image of a monogamous, committed and GOD-fearing black man, who proudly is in a committed same sex relationship.

Parnell Damone Marcano, a native of Denver, Colorado has an extensive resume which includes being an original cast member of the NAACP Theatre Award and GLAAD Media Award winning play, "Children of the Night", a recurring cast member of the hit web series "Old Dogs & New Tricks" and company manager of the highly acclaimed Celebration Theater in Los Angeles.  Parnell is also a Founding Board Member of the Los Angeles Youth Drama Theatre program.

Working with the legendary Miss Mary Wilson, as an accompanying vocalist, for over two decades, Parnell Damone Marcano is the only male ever to be billed as one of "The Supremes".

Parnell Damone Marcano made his Off-Broadway appearance, in New York City, this fall in the musical "Babies".
