"We appreciate the dedication of Von & Rosanne to help our children and for opening their business and that entire corner for a fun community event." "The BGCCC has over 3,020 children in our after school and summer programs and with outreach programs, we impact the lives of over 8,500 annually. Our clubs concentrate on three core areas of academic and career programs, development of character and leadership skills and health and life skills. Most people do not understand all that our clubs do to positively impact the children we serve in a safe and nurturing environment on a daily basis." stated Von Best, board member and owner of the restaurant holding this event. The Shrimp & Crawfish Boil features outstanding food, fun and games for the kids, Live Music as well as other food and drink specials. A Silent Auction and Live Auction features many items, and is a family fun event from 2:00-7:00 pm on Saturday, April 29th. Admission for adults is $30 which includes the crawfish lunch and kids are $15 which includes a kid's meal and 10 tickets for games and activities. The BGCCC's mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. The organization currently serves over 8,500 children through its after-school, summer and outreach programs. BGCCC currently provides transportation with 21 buses from 69 Collin County schools and 6 community locations to its branches in McKinney, Frisco and Plano as well as an extension site at Shepton High School in West Plano.
