Meet the Author …

Dana King has two Shamus Awards nominations from the Private Eye Writers of America for his Nick Forte novels A Small Sacrifice and The Man in the Window. A classically-trained musician who free-lanced for ten years, he played in an army band, worked in supermarkets, tended bar, walked the floor as a retail store security guard, drove a forklift in a salvage warehouse, collected quarters from coin laundry machines, taught public school, ran a copier for a real estate business, managed a computer network training school, administered computer networks, demonstrated and installed enterprise software systems, and trained adults on computer applications around periods of "between engagements."His short story, "Green Gables," appears in the Thuglit anthology Blood, Guts, and Whisky. Resurrection Mall is the third Penns River published by Down & Out Books, following Worst Enemies and Grind Joint.
