US trade with Canada in the 2nd quarter of 2017

Sept. 8, 2017 - PRLog -- In the 2nd quarter of 2017, US trade with Canada totaled $151.0 billion, up 6.85% ($9.7 billion) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

US exports to Canada in the 2nd quarter of 2017 totaled $72.8 billion, up 3.65% ($2.6 billion) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

US imports from Canada in the 2nd quarter of 2017 totaled $78.2 billion, up 10.00% ($7.1 billion) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

US trade deficit with Canada in the 2nd quarter of 2017 was $5.4 billion, a 543.67% increase ($4.5 billion) over the 2nd quarter of 2016.

Canada was the US 2nd largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (down from 1st in the 2nd quarter of 2016), accounting for 15.3091% of US total trade (up from 15.2711% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).

Canada was the US largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (just as in the 2nd quarter of 2016), accounting for 18.9296% of US total exports (down from 19.3235% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).

Canada was the US 3rd largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (just as in the 2nd quarter of 2016), accounting for 12.9948% of US total imports (up from 12.6496% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).
