22nd Annual 12 Bars of Xmas Crawl Set for Chicago on December 9, 2017

CHICAGO - Oct. 2, 2017 - PRLog -- The World-Famous "Twelve Bars Of Xmas" TBOX Pub Crawl will take place this year on Saturday, December 9, in Wrigleyville, Chicago. This popular and crazy bar crawls has become a Chicago holiday tradition, and Founder Christopher Festa will lead the proceedings for the 22nd year in a row, starting with the opening ceremonies at the Cubby Bear Lounge at 10AM.

The theme for this year's event, #TBOX2017, is "Christmas Vacation" - encouraging partiers to dress like they are on vacation for their favorite holiday destination. This, combined with the usual colorful holiday garb, should make for an amazing sight in the 40+ bars of the Clark Street area by Wrigley Field that host the event.

A record attendance is expected for this year. Festa and TBOX have also donated over $250,000 to local charities since 2009, with the lead recipient being the Lakeview Pantry hunger assistance center. TBOX is known around Chicago and the Midwest for its unique features, including cereal shots, thousands of stickers distributed to crawlers, funny picture frames circulating around the bars, the incredible costumes, the opening and closing ceremonies, and the over 100 couples who have gotten married after meeting at the event.
