Rapper VIP The Messiah releases new mixtape "FML2"

LOS ANGELES - Nov. 9, 2017 - PRLog -- 2017 has been a prolific year for rapper VIP The Messiah. His mixtapes "FML" and "VIP vs The State" both dropped to much fanfare, announcing the arrival of an artist who not only represents his hometown but an optimistic spirit of encouraging everyone to follow their dreams. Highlighting VIP's vision and stand out style, "FML2" drops on November 10th.

"FML 2" was exclusively produced by Dame Bling and will be available on Spinrilla (https://www.spinrilla.com/mixtapes/vip-the-messiah-fml-2/). Hustle Hearted hosts the project.

On "FML2", VIP lives what he raps. T-shirts from his lifestyle brand, "FYCK LYFE" are a standard part of the wardrobe in many of VIP's music videos. He keeps the brand on prominent display because "FYCK LYFE" embodies what VIP wants to accomplish with his music. VIP aims to reconcile the different sides of his persona, the side that chases material things, and the side that wants to give voice to the voiceless, like many of the people he grew up with whose lives were derailed by violence and incarceration.

VIP is currently hard at work on his next release. He plans to announce a release date in the coming months.
