He has also completed hundreds of industrial hygiene, mold / moisture, and indoor air quality studies for various facility types," said Operations Director, Steven Kitzke. Over his career, Regelbrugge has conducted and managed health and safety investigations in the industrial/manufacturing, construction, rail, healthcare, education, and oil and gas sectors. He began his career in the laboratory analyzing asbestos bulk and air samples before broadening his industrial hygiene, health and safety skills. In addition to conducting to evaluate employee chemical exposures, Regelbrugge has also conducted studies to evaluate worker exposures to physical agents, such as noise, heat and electrical magnetic fields (EMF). Within the last ten years, Regelbrugge shifted his focus into comprehensive Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) audits for Fortune 500 companies around the world. His audits have help his clients protect their most valuable asset—their employees—while ensuring that their health and safety programs and work environments were compliant not only with their own internal company requirements but governmental regulations as well. During this time, Regelbrugge was also responsible for managing health and safety audits for a large US automobile manufacture. He succeeding in completing audits for over 40 automobile manufacturing and assembly plants within a rigorous two-week time frame and on budget. He has also performed and managed hundreds of indoor environmental quality (IEQ) studies in schools, hospitals, churches, and offices. Regelbrugge also has specialized expertise in the field of indoor air quality (IAQ) and has been involved in many high-profile projects designed to identification and control of mold/moisture intrusion in buildings as well as controlling dusts and other contaminants from entering sensitive occupied environments such as patient rooms in hospitals. "I was very fortunate to have spent years being mentored by luminaries such as the late Dr. Philip Morey, who received his PhD in Biology from Yale, and was a foremost expert in microbiological contamination in the indoor environment," Regelbrugge is a graduate of Loyola University in Chicago, an American Board Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and Certified Safety Professional (CSP).
