Numerous Companies Coming Together to Help Fight Hunger in Oregon

PORTLAND, Ore. - Nov. 30, 2017 - PRLog -- Over 14 companies throughout the Metro area are working together for the 10th Annual Great Holiday Food Drive beginning Monday, December 4th through December 20th with 16 locations around the Portland-Salem Metro area collecting donations!

The Goal: RAISE OVER 70,000 LBS OF FOOD FOR THE OREGON FOOD BANK NETWORK & MARION-POLK FOOD SHARE!

As well, in an exciting partnership, people can also donate to any New Green Cab Driver around the Portland-Salem Metro Area when taking their New Green Cab taxi trip!

This partnership with New Green Cab will make it easy to donate non-perishable food from nearly any point within the Portland-Salem Metro area!

With help and support from the Portland-Salem Metro communities, the 10th Annual Great Holiday Food Drive has a goal to meet, or beat, the 10 year cumulative total by raising the equivalent of nearly 70,000 lbs of food for the hungry here in the Portland-Salem Metro area of Oregon.

The food banks are always short on food during the holiday season regardless of economic situations and hardships.

Neturf Solutions is organizing the event and working with local companies in the Portland-Salem Metro area to help fight hunger by offering drop sites around the metro area with donation bins for accepting non-perishable food items.
