New Natural Skincare Caters to Women of Color with Sensitive Skin

ATLANTA - Jan. 24, 2018 - PRLog -- BRWN Beauty, (https://brwnbeauty.com/) a new skincare line, is geared towards nurturing the needs of women of color with sensitive and acne-prone skin. This skincare line is the brainchild of Asheya Dixon and, Shy Williams of Tucson, AZ.

BRWN Beauty had its soft launch on January 18th with exclusive sales, insider tips and access to perks curated for the BRWN Beauty influencer network. This is the second health and beauty brand for the wife and mother of two who is also an Army Veteran.

An official launch of the brand is scheduled for release in February and will take place in Atlanta, Dixon's hometown. Her vision to serve women of color is evident through the development of the BRWN Beauty brand.

Asheya is adept at tapping influencers to organically spread her message of genuine compassion and support to see women at their best. In the past, she's tapped the likes of model, Lira Galore and reality tv star, Tiffany Foxx as spokespersons for her other companies. She's excited to unveil the brand ambassadors for her newest brand at her launch event in Atlanta.

She shares, "As the brainchild of a multimillion-dollar weight management product that did over $2MM+ in sales within the past year, I noticed a trend and need for a skincare line that excelled at catering to the needs of women of color with acne-prone skin and other skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, blemishes and the like." She continues, "With the support of my husband and business partner, we invested in the research and technology for BRWN Beauty. We are excited to introduce this brand to the market and happy to say that we use 100% natural and organic ingredients."

It's scientifically proven that women of color, especially women with darker tones, have high levels of melanin, while women with lighter skin have moderate or low levels of melanin in their skin.  Though a coveted DNA, melanin has its own unique set of advantages as well as disadvantages that women of color must consider when developing their skin care regimen. Common skin conditions include hyperpigmentation, vitiligo, acne, dry skin, eczema, psoriasis, hyperkeratosis, keloids, etc.

Originally from Atlanta, Asheya has lived in Arizona for  1 ½ years. Her military background has paved the way to her becoming a trailblazer at everything she pursues. As a child being raised in a military home with mother and father both military she developed a lot of qualities most others don't establish until later in life. Being the oldest of four siblings allowed her to blossom into a natural born leader with a take charge attitude.
