Western Nevada FC signs Jake Crim

CARSON CITY, Nev. - Feb. 2, 2018 - PRLog -- Western Nevada FC is pleased to announce the signing of Jake Crim. Jake played club and pre academy in High School. He was a 3 time all conference honoree for High school, as well as offensive MVP both his junior and senior year. Jake decided to play collegiately for Oberlin College in Ohio for two years. He played in all 38 games during his time, making 21 starts. This past Fall for Jake's second season with Oberlin College, he played every single minute of the season.

Jake had this to say about joining the club, "It feels great to join this club. Having a developmental league where players who aren't in college can get quality games in is really going to help progress us in soccer.

Western Nevada FC Head Coach, Ian Hill, had a comment regarding the signing of Jake Crim, "We are excited about Jake. He is mature beyond his years with quality skills and a deep desire to be successful. He also has the ability to play multiple positions both of holding in and the center back. Having Midfield skills at the center back position really fits our Fast and Furious style play."

The club asked Jake for some insight into his game and this is what he had to say, "I'm a big guy (6'3, 185) but I was small growing up so I really worked on my technical skills. I hope you'll see some physical tackles, and big headers, as well as some sweet passes out of the back."
