This tell-all guide for today's businesswoman who wants to get what she wants for herself, by herself. She is a member of the Association of Image Consultants International (AICI), Vaughn is also co-author of the book Inspired Style. This guide to glamour at any age features Vaughn and other top image experts sharing tips to help women look and be their best. She has also contributed articles on image, style and business etiquette for local newspapers.

It's no surprise her love for fashion and style lead her to be the founder and CEO of a high-profile, non-profit organization called Jackets for Jobs, Inc. The nonprofit organization provide employment etiquette, career skills training and professional clothing to low-income individuals. Since opening in 2000, the organization has assisted more than 21,000 individuals in their pursuit of employment. This high-profile organization has been recognized by ABC's "The View," NBC's "Today Show" and Oprah's O Magazine.

Vaughn has inspired audiences with her insights on advocacy, entrepreneurism, empowerment and workforce development including area churches, civil rights organizations, corporations and non-profits, conference attendees, schools and universities and women's groups.

During Women's History Month and beyond, Vaughn will be empowering, celebrating and uplifting many women during these upcoming events:

21st Global Women's Leaders Conference
in Dubai, UAE, Vaughn will be speaking on the rise of women entrepreneurs from March 3-10. This is her second time speaking in Dubai. This is part of the Michigan Association of Female Executives (MAFE) 21st Global Women Leaders Conference. The conference aims to highlight international strategies on how to empower women to lead the business sector, and provide a global platform for the exchange of best practices and knowledge on leadership. During the conference, the delegation will participate in discussion forums on how to increase women's competitiveness in the private sector and develop better partnerships with global institutions.

Smart & Sexy Day

On March 21, Jackets for Jobs and the Alliance of Career Development Nonprofits will once again be hosting "Smart and Sexy Day." The National lingerie, "Smart & Sexy" company goal is to inspire women and foster their self-confidence. Vaughn said when she was women feel assured, confident and extremely fierce when trying to land the perfect job. Vaughn worked with the City of Detroit to proclaim March 21 as Detroit's official "Smart and Sexy Day."

Jackets for Jobs 18th Anniversary Celebration

What does Kim Fields and Alison Vaughn have in common? Both are living the blessed life. Fields, the TV star from "Living Single" and "Facts of Life" is the author of the book, "Blessed Life." Fields will be the keynote speaker to celebrate and honor the work that Vaughn and Jackets for Jobs has done in the Detroit community for 18 years. Both women are living life to be a blessing to others. The event will take place on April 26 at MGM Grand Detroit.
