By: United Premier Soccer League The newly-formed UPSL ATL Caribbean Division already has initiated training and friendlies in preparation for the UPSL's upcoming 2018 Spring Season. United Premier Soccer League Commissioner Yan Skwara said, "The United Premier Soccer League is very pleased to announce the newly-formed Atlanta Caribbean Division. Connecting American Soccer is our league slogan, and this consolidation of existing Atlanta-based new teams forming the new UPSL Atlanta Caribbean Division is a testament to the desire of our existing and new team members to become one underneath a single umbrella of a Promotion/Relegation system. We are a U.S.-based league but we have international roots. I personally want to thank Wesley Graham and all the teams from the Atlanta Caribbean Soccer League that have placed their confidence in the UPSL as their future league. The UPSL has a promising future ahead, and we're going to elevate the game together. We look forward to an exciting 2018 Spring Season with the addition of the UPSL Atlanta Caribbean Division and its new team members." The charter members of the UPSL Atlanta Division are Vahi Athletic FC, Reno FC, Seas Jamaica FC, Sambo FC, Yardaz FC, Jamaica ATL FC,TC United, Yolta United, Inferno United and Storm FC. Teams will continue to be added to the UPSL Atlanta Caribbean Division in the coming months. United Premier Soccer League The UPSL was formed in 2011 and currently includes more than 140 teams in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia and Wisconsin. UPSL is the fastest growing Pro Development League in the USA, with 140-plus teams targeted for 2018 Spring Season. Each UPSL team is individually owned and operated, and is responsible for maintaining either UPSL Pro Premier Division or Championship Division minimum standards. UPSL teams are all eligible to participate in the U.S. Open Cup Qualifying Rounds through the leagues affiliation with the U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) and the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA).
