WASHINGTON - March 5, 2018 - PRLog -- MahoganyBooks, an award-winning New York Times reporting bookstore that specializes in books written for, by or about people of the African Diaspora, will celebrate Women's History Month with two special events with Black Girls Rock! Founder Beverly Bond and Former Mayor of Baltimore Stephanie Rawlings – Blake.

Beverly Bond, creator of Black Girls Rock! will discuss women empowerment with R&B superstar, Brave Williams. In partnership with the Enoch Pratt Library, the discussion and book signing will take place on Wednesday, March 14thfrom 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Reginald Lewis Library. Reinvention strategist, influence expert, and best-selling author Marshawn Evans Daniels will be in conversation with the 49th Mayor of Baltimore Stephanie Rawlings – Blake with on Friday, March 16th from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. These two powerhouse women will peel back the layers of what it means to live a life of resilience. Also known as the Godfidence Coach, Marshawn Evans Daniels is a master in teaching the art of manifestation. Former Sports Attorney, Miss America Finalist and Donald Trump Apprentice, Daniels left her full-time job as a stuffy big-firm lawyer and turned her passion for people into a million-dollar enterprise.
