Justice Jackson will discuss her memoir, "Lovely One," in conversation with Dr. Carla Hayden, Librarian of Congress, on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at 6 p.m. at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library, 901 G St. N.W., Washington, D.C.

This historic event brings together two trailblazing women who have shattered glass ceilings in their respective fields. Justice Jackson is the first Black woman to serve on the Supreme Court, and Dr. Hayden is the first woman and the first African American to lead the national library.
